Just regged this .net: DubaiAE (Dubai Arab Emirates).

Dubai is one of the most forward thinking cities on the planet.. I think this would make a great portal or minisite..

Comments? Suggestions? Appraisals?

Nice name, its good you regged the .net, as in my view they are better than the .com for portal sites. Well i would say low $xxx undeveloped, low-mid $xxxx developed.

I was lucky to catch dubaiphotos.net not so long ago. Btw, Dubai is a United Arab Emirate, still its a nice domain, there are still many .net Dubai related domains available, even .com's, i have some written down, but dont have the money to buy them..

I agree.. I like to look for regional domains with an eye to development.

This is one of my first forays into the international tourism market, so to speak. I normally try not to speculate but this one seemed like a "natural".

True.. still will SEO well I expect. I picked AE because of the domain ext.

AE alone is not what peope would look into. You would need UAE.

I am thinking it's no different than typing in dubai.ae (.ae being the official domain ext, btw).. either way, it will still parse in the SE's even if they type in uae. Thanks for the appraisal.

You SEO US domains with .US, not .USA

I don't expect it to have any real value until/unless developed btw.
