i was browsing the forum and i noticed few old threads about 'Private sellers' not doing well at Dropcatch Auctions i chalked it up to the quality of the domains not being that great so i decided to try it out myself with a great domain i have. i came up with this game where you will try to guess the final sale price and if you win you get 100$!

The domain : SEOmaster.com
Facts :
- Taken in 73 Extensions
- 14k Godaddy appraisal

Rules:
-provide some information on why you choose this amount!
-no entries once the auction reaches the last 2 hours!
-can't enter the same entry as someone else!
-Payment by paypal once the auction is over!
-only one entry per user!
-no edits!

it sold for $400 in 2016, so it must be get sold in the range of $850 ~ $1.2k.

my lucky price is $900.

Btw, nice game in np after longtime (y) :xf.wink:

Thanks for participating :D the 2016 sale doesn't factor in the increase of extensions it got taken in after lets see what others think!

SEOmaster.com could potentially be a good fit for a website focused on SEO, as it can help with search engine optimization efforts and establish the website as an authoritative source in the industry. My lucky price is $1407

A fair amount of bidders on DC are SEO people so it might do pretty well for a private seller auction, 1750 is my guess.

$1853

Some GD sales data:

seoprofiler.com --- 10805 --- 2022
serpmaster.com --- 1500 --- 2020
seoninja.com --- 18000 --- 2016
seoworkshop.com --- 5000 --- 2021
seobase.com --- 2000 --- 2020
seogenius.com --- 1500 --- 2015
seotheory.com --- 2288 --- 2022
seohero.com --- 3303 --- 2021
seostrategy.com --- 11000 --- 2022

DC is mostly domainers. End user would probably pay 4k but who knows when that end user will show up.

@bmugford once told me this type of domain your enduser might be another domainer so they overlap

I think it will go for $2,975.12 the reason is because it's a rare domain that is taken in all major and minor TLDS. The high GD appraisal helps it too. Just my two cents.

$3277 based on past sales for "master" and "SEO" keywords, number of taken tlds and investors vs end-user sales.

Exact number meaning by the dollar? No one is going guess $1201 or $1232 bit unfair if so

  • $0-$99: $5 bid increments
  • $100-$199: $10 bid increments
  • $200-$499: $20 bid increments
  • $500 to $999: $50 bid increments
  • $1000 to $4999: $100 bid increments
  • $5000 to $9999: $250 bid increments
  • $10000 to $24999: $500 bid increments
  • $25000 to $49999: $1000 bid increments
  • $50000 and up: $2500 bid increments
it is pretty easy to calculate based on the dropcatch bidding increments don't you think ^^ ?

$650
It’s currently at $450 and has 4 days to go, but whether there is going to be a frenzy or nothing, it’s hard to tell,

$4,800 because the name sells itself, SEO is still a big industry and I think 2 or 3 bidders will go bid for bid
