I'm thinking of purchasing Dreamweaver CS3 and I'm currently in the US. Will a US version work in the UK and will I still be able to register it?

I'm not 100% sure but I think you will be able to register it.

Don't get caught by customs though, they'll want you to pay duty on it.

but if you're flying into heathrow you only get your luggage xray'd if you volunteer....

i think if you purchase it online you get a download link and i think the serial code should work worldwide as long as its only on your computer.

It shouldn't make a difference. The only thing you need to worry about is getting the correct version (PC/Mac) cause the two aren't interchangable unless you write to them from what I've heard. It's the serial number that's important and that's worldwide. I mean once installed you could go live in the north pole and it's still valid.

us the DW V8 its not something difference between 8 and CS 3

I think the US versin will work.
Maybe you need register it again, but it should be free.

Just wanted to add that the only issue with the registration code you get when you buy CS3 is installing it too many times. I had this problem with CS2, my mac kept breaking down and I had to format it about 5 times before Apple replaced it. Each time I reinstalled the CS2 suite and finally it wouldn't let me install and verify over the internet. I now have to call in everytime I do a new install and explain what happened.
