Pawn stores... Possibly.... But not enough gun stores to start going hyper small like east 46th bagels, or downtown pizza, etc.

The smallest geographical area you typically see for gun stores are city, such as Hackettstown Guns or Oakridge Firearms.

Way more are named after store owners like Bills Guns.

Just go take a look at the FFL list from ATF, it is public.

You can probably be a douche and register gun store name domains and sell to them.

Vast majority of gun stores are small mom and pop or folks who sell out of their house, i.e. Kitchen table gun dealers.

In many states they are also pawn shops as guns tend to be brought in.

I have noticed that lots of gun shops are named after people. I also think these gun owners keep these businesses in their families, or they close their doors. I do think one potential benefit of owning a name like MainStGuns is being able to sell the business without a ton of confusion.
