DownloadMusic.net recently sold on Afternic for $10,000, which is IMO a great deal for its new owner since the two words together are searched over 6.3 million times a month on Overture (more than most elite keywords!). They will have absolutely no problem making their money back on that one! When I had gotten DownloadMusic.in a year ago, most extensions were taken, and after this recent sale even more extensions were taken. All the reasonable extensions are gone, and like any other good phrase, even the unreasonable extensions are being snatched up.
I personally think the ccTLD .in really helps the name, as it allows for language subdirectory hacks (i.e. DownloadMusic.in/Spanish) and/or location subdirectory hacks (i.e. DownloadMusic.in/China). You can deliver many websites in 1 with that approach and cover a very broad international market!
The current asking price is $900. I may raise it if searches for "download music" go higher still as they have been over the last year, so jump on it while you can get it for $xxx! I have a number of other .in names as well as many other premium highly searched keywords in country-code extensions, so be sure to check out the rest of my names, or inquire if there's anything in particular you are looking for.
