Try to find out what they want it for and consider asking them what their budget is for the project (not just the domain). It sounds like a brandable - a dove is a bird and there isn't much commercial value for videos of a species of bird. On the other hand, Dove is a brand of soap so you could be facing a UDRP filing in a worst case scenario.

A dove is not just any bird, its the symbol of peace and love. If you ask what they want to use the name for be prepared for a charity (dot org) answer. Goodluck

With brandables it just comes down to what they are willing to pay - could be $7500 or could be $50. However, I don't see the advantage of parking .TV domains given the silly UDRP filings which TheDomains and other bloggers report for domains registered at least ten years ago and generally prior to any TM filing.

Dove.TV is not special - it is the same risk as any other "generic" that matches a TM. If you park with ads you risk an issue (for .TV traffic which is usually close to 0 it's a stupid risk, imho). A pure domain? No risk.

There is no tangible value for this name IMO, again, it's one of those wildcard names as I read above. Could be worth high $xx - low $xxx - or could be worth $x,xxx - $xx,xxx if a major investor with serious ties to this word are involved (such as Dove soap, etc)

However you could be passing up $xx-$xxx offers all along and hoping for that $x,xxx offer that never comes.

Interestingly when I view the parking page I don't see anything related to soap or that cosmetics company.
According to Sedo stats, most visitors last 12 months have been from Italy - Dove means 'Where' in Italian.

I have asked the interested person to make a reasonable offer, keeping in mind within $x,xxx
