I am starting a travel website very soon and I'm thinking about registering a domain with a dot Travel extension. But before that, I want to ask opinions on this. Here are some of my questions:

-How will a domain with a dot travel extension help me in SE Rankings
-What are the other advantages and disadvantages of this extension
-Do you think it's worth buying a domain with this extension over other extensions?

I imagine it will help SEO in the same way .info does (can someone confirm this?)

Disadvanatages are the requirements to qualify for a .travel name:

Have you looked at travel.travel?
(The Travel Partnership Corp also have info on their site but not as detailed.)

I work in the travel industry and to be honest we haven't bothered.We did try but you have to jump through hoops to get the domains and unless you are in the delivery of actual travel 'methods' ie airline company I would'nt bother.
