Dot Org Problems at NameCheap

Hi

I recently posted an issue I had with the WHOIS data for .ORGS not registering properly, and it transpired that there were certain criteria which had to be met before it would register correctly, at least according to Enom. They are

Contact email address had to be a .com extension
Organisation field must be completed
Fax number must be present and preceded by country extension and a dot (e.g +44.1234234765

This hasn't posed a problem at other registrars (including Enom) since, but I have several domains at NameCheap which simply refuse to update to the WHOIS, despite me following these rules.

Can any members throw any light on this please? It would be much appreciated as I've tried evrything I know so far. If you could take at look at your .orgs registered at NameCheap, especially if you are UK based.

I have edited a few names at enom and regfly and had no issues. This might be a namecheap specific problem

same here.I have a .org at namecheap that shows their details in the whois instead of mine. Tried updating several times but still no change.

If it doesn't change in the next few days, i'll be emailing them.

I had the same problem with registerfly. The domain was in my account but I couldn't manage it. I'm assuming it was in their master account because they updated the whois and pushed it into my account.

Im also having this problem at name cheap. Dont know why. Please pm me if you guys find a solution!

No probs with my orgs there .Maybe to do with the new phone # regs . Why do we have to enter a country code now anyway ? To make life easier for the spammers ?
