Yea, crazy thread but the photo well illustrates for me the potential of .mobi. 10,000 concert goers, probably 90% have cell phones. If 1/2 have an internet plan, then you've got 5,000 potential customers that are miles away from their PC. Internet on the go, mobile internet, whatever you call it, it is only going to grow. Concert goers, people sitting endlessly in the airport or on a commuter train. Ever been to a NASCAR race? You've got over 100,000 people, most with phones and people are texting each other like crazy because talking on the phone is impossible with all the noise. Just a few examples of all the potential customers of a .mobi site.

Speaking for myself, this is comic relief rolled up with ridicule of how .mobi enthusiasts are sometimes personified. Hopefully you smiled at least once, that's all I ask But again on the serious side, that picture IMO is worth a thousand words towards the discussion of the .mobi opportunity.
