Since the extension part is long (.company), the idea is to keep the name part on the left as small as possible.

Just think of the companies named like Hostingco Internetco..
The co at the end of a keyword looks great.

When.company owners will look for a shorter domain.. I strongly believe that they will think .co! Shorter and means something.

I'm holding my 3 letter .co's.
