I was driving home this afternoon and happened to hear John Tesh on the radio. For those of you who don't know him, he does an afternoon show several hours in length called "Intelligence for your life". His content is short factoids pulled from current magazines, popular books, research studies, etc.
On the program I heard he was talking about the increased cost of gas and how people save on vacation expenses by swapping homes with others, trading guest space etc. When he got to providing examples of how these arrangements could be set up he mentioned three websites. One, dot com, one dot net, and one dot org.
It suggests that more and more people will become familiar with the idea that dot come is not the only possible extension.
