hi i am thinking of buying some cc domains but i am not so sure... i have found a real good name thoug that is realated to fotball, it can be used for boxing as well i guess and i have seen that all of the other dn is taken...

So what do you guys think of CC domains???

I sold Attorney_cc not long ago and did quite well. .CC domains are worth it for the more premium terms right now. My advice that if it's just a so/so term, think it over and make sure you want to make the investment. It may pay off later, but right now it's the premium names that are selling $xxx to $x,xxx range.

Many a thread on this, but the long and short of it:

Pros:
1) verisign managed
2) quasi well known
3) short, memorable
4) Good names still available

Cons:
1) not .com
2) a ccTLD trying to masquerade as a purposeless gTLD (As opposed to .tv or .md, perhaps)
3) Price ($19/yr) deters speculation
4) Lack of sales to judge fair prices
