Everything is BRAND now, and for a new venture using that domain, you should have "Gummies" as the first word on your company name. Gummies Inc Gummies World, Gummies Canada, etc.

The goal of any business should be for their core brand (usually the first word or multi-word) to equal their domain.

If you already run Gummy World Inc at Gummy.ca, GummyWorld.ca or similar, then you can always pick up Gummies.ca for use in promotions, forwarding, or as a shorter email.

That's more towards what I'm thinking. It sometimes gets clunky when you are promoting your brand and the domain is the same. Plus advertising, marketing and things like social media handles come into play.

I hate to get all "Pandemic Depression" on everyone, but after a nice uptick In March-April, buyer demand has literally dropped off the table on my domains. I haven't got a Sedo offer in weeks and the last GD one was a $75 rebid after I ignored a $20 lowball.

It seems like the country is now on standby and people are realizing the virus isn't going away.

I'm certainly not starving, but it does make me think twice about putting even more money into TBR domains right now, as although i know the economy has to ramp up eventually, no one knows exactly when that will happen.

Thoughts?

I think that as less interaction live is going to be the new normal for some time to come (imho) that more people/businesses are going to see websites as a way to communicate/conduct business online that allows for minimal contact...ordering online and pickup at store or have it delivered etc.

Yeah a few good names this week. Wonder if we're seeing something that happened a few months back where these names are dropping because of a death or something similar.

You have to assume the owner(s) could have gotten something for these names instead of letting them drop for nothing

The Top 6 Words I Think Will Rank High on the TBR:

TECH.ca
BRAD.ca
SPORTING.ca
MESSAGING.ca
PRIEST.ca
SMOG.ca
