Anyone have any predictions for today? I quickly looked at the list and didn't see anything that stood out so I have no idea.

Just from a quick perusal, I was thinking KNI or KLO for 3-letters, or EMIGRATION for 1-words, but that last one was way off. Whoever got that got a steal.

Happy to report that I got my name!

Huge thanks to the help and guidance from everyone in this thread, dating back to over a couple of weeks ago when I first searched for this name and saw that it had been taken, then I noticed it had juuuust expired, then learned about TBR, then waited for it to show up on the list... and finally it's mine :)

Just an FYI that this forum is not to promote or sell your domains, and there are specific areas on NP for those purposes.

I understand about not sell, but isn't the idea of a showcase thread that people can list one or more of their domain names, if they want, related to the topic of the thread? I realize most do not in this thread, and I actually like it the way it is currently, but just wondering if I misunderstand what is a showcase. I am new this NamePros thing :xf.eek: and still finding my way around.

Good question Bob, but as NP has stated that you need to promote and sell your own domains in specific areas, I take "showcasing" as spotlighting hot .CA TBR domains, which domains might be selected first, top sales, .CAs that hit the Sedo sales chart, what .CAs recently changed hands or got posted on Namebio, etc.

I certainly don't see this as an area for self-promotion, other than maybe the odd link to another area of NP, etc.. Plus, the more you contribute content to the thread, I'm sure the more lenient people are to the odd promotional post.

it would help if the word 'showcase' was removed from the title of the thread. as far as i know that can only be done by the thread starter, whitebark, and he hasn't been on here since 2017. i don't know if we can request that change from the mods. it doesn't seem right to abandon this thread and start a new one over one word. but it would clarify things.

Son of a birch, you're killing me with these puns

And yet, we still haven't figured out where whitebark actually went. A mystery for the ages.

Here's a question for my .ca development colleagues. Let's say you going to develop an e-commerce website and you have the category name (ex. gummies.ca ... owned by a member here) that your website will be selling. My question is; Is it better to BRAND the website by the domain name or instead brand it as something like Gummy World. instead of the domain name gummies.ca (example only)? Thoughts?
