I closed off a deal last year via a phone call. Sometimes it just takes the potential buyer actually hearing a real voice as opposed to just emails. If they want to call then definitely arrange a call. I am not sure if it was mentioned but have a reasonably base price in mind already. You can still do a call on your time. You can still be in control.

Looking for honest opinions from .ca domains experts... What do you guys think of this domain? Do you see any value in it? Not really familiar with ccTLD domains yet!

Not less than 90,500 exact monthly searches for the word moba!

Statistics from 2014-2015
League of Legends and Dota 2 are two of the most played games in the world with respectively 27 millions (total of 67) and 2.4 millions (total of 43) daily users.

Imagine in 2020...

As an update I have now used the Dynadot code for getting a .ca domain to exactly match the same name in some other extension in your Dynadot account. I was not sure when I posted before, but have confirmed two things:
  • You can use it for multiple .ca domains (not sure if any limit but I successfully used it for 4)
  • You can this month register a new domain in some other TLD, and then in a later session same day register the matching .ca. That is what I did, found other extensions I liked that also had a .ca available, registered the other first, then logged in again added the .ca with identical names, then enter the coupon code CAMATCH99 at the shopping cart and price on each changed to $0.99. Note it is only until end of January.
So my domain fast (I went 49 days without a single new acquisition) is now over (mixed emotions :xf.smile::xf.wink::xf.frown:).

Anyway I thought I would share in case it is useful to someone else looking for a pair of a .ca and the same word in some other TLD.

By the way my top priority word I took was numerical(.)ca that I saw on this thread some months ago on the drop list via @DomainRecap, so thank you(y) (although sorry not taking directly from link)! I kept watching that no one took it while I had my domain fast. I also took numerical(.)network that I liked as the matching in some other TLD so I could get the .ca at the deal. And I like alliteration.

Numerical seemed like a good word for me :xf.cool:.

FYI: Sedo's weekly sales report (posted today) shows that Cannagram.ca sold for 2,495 USD.

Not sure but I hope we continue to see canna-related domain sales this year. I have a pile of them.... I'm thinking the recent changes in Ontario's cannabis market might help.

Do you happen to own grams.ca? I see the .com is listed on afternic with a 500K minimum.

Yes

That's a great domain! The plural works well when it comes to cannabis industry, plus the singular seems to have been in use for a long time already (in an unrelated industry). Why not list it on Sedo and Afternic?

A perfect TBR domain for today:

Lowballers.ca

Interestingly only reg in 2 TLDs at least according to Dofo. Someone has the .com for sale for $40k. While my first reaction was what use would that name be, but I bet some quirky marketer might find a use, provided it went cheap enough :xf.grin:

To Be Released (TBR) Weekly .CA Picks for January 22, 2020

The .CA numbers have jumped back up this week to almost within shouting distance of the 9K barrier. Itโ€™s a relatively good week for all levels of the TBR expiry list, and it even includes a few top-end premiums that we all know and love. There are also a lot of candidates for the โ€œHall of Very Goodโ€, and our weekly Top Picks List includes...

Hookup with some Hot Single Words

And so it begins.... my money is on PLASMA.CA.

So far, it looks like Sibername is robbing the house this week.

How do you see the action as it unfolds? Do you have special access or is it public?

I just run WHOIS queries on a set of names and see which ones fall off the list, and who selected them.

We were all wrong, it was FNW.CA.

Does anyone see particular significance in the Canadian context of that acronym? I mean there are lots of possibilities, like FindNewWork :xf.cool: but presume that would be true of any 3L.
