I can see a number of these getting picked up - there a few others I'm surprised they accepted the high reserve and can't see selling because of it. What do you think?

I sold 12+ already at 5k each and 2 for 10k

also....

Turned down 8k for movu
Turned down 5k for mtro

The right ones have value, the wrong ones will drain you. There are hundreds available so pick carefully.
With my analytics history I will drop about 50 of them with zero activity but my others are doing really well.

If I get clicks and activity I keep them, if no activity I drop them. That rule applies in most cases for me unless I think the domain has a particular end user.

The other thing I do is I count each visit regardless of IP. So if the same ip clicks two dozen times I count that because it shows me someone is looking.

You have to look at all data, dedicated clicks, repeat clicks, type in etc.
The tools are available if you seek them out.

unregd ?
i doubt there are many/any unregged 4l.ca dictionary words left...and if they are unregged then are u really sitting on them? ;)

as for liquid..there is nothing really liquid about any .ca names..unless its some super short thus super rare stuff.. like go.ca or such

I actually misread his post, thanks for pointing that out.

Dictionary 4 letter does not apply to my comments above.
I was talking about straight 4 letters

I would buy them but I would expect them to be in portfolio for at least two years.

oberlo 15000 (and that's just a mishmash of 6 letters)

That was just a big US .COM buying the .CA alternate - has really nothing to do with nothing.

To be honest some of the best sales come when intl. based companies secure the .ca, they have no idea what they are walking into, and usually pay .com type pricing. Agree the keyword sample is random, and buyer got very lucky. Much like Ampli sale.

Triangle is in a league of its own. One-word shape domains are just about as generic, brandable, and memorable as it gets (also, colours + animals).

Some one-word plants/flowers and foods are good too.

If they are base/core/root words (no plurals, prefixes and suffixes) and still in use, I would buy them all day, but I don't think there are too many left.

An example with your hand-reg:

Expert.ca
Expertly.ca

All things being equal, which one would you rather have?

Of those, I would have definitely hard reg'd DOUR.CA.

Keep that for 2 years and it'll probably sell.
