Don't you just hate this about pool

Has anyone else noticed that in pool auctions, you only see the bidders your going up against when they actually bid other than there initial BO? I think this kinda blows, because not only do you not see how many people are in the auction, but this gives them the possibility to ''add'' so called bidders if they want to without anyone knowing about it...not to mention all those 'Pool_####' unkown bidders...i didnt trust them b4 and i dont trust them now because of this sort of thing....just my 2c...

I'm a big fan of the whole "Above Reproach" standard, and any time a step in any process is veiled without good reason, I tend to migrate elsewhere.
In this case, I understand that they don't want to let everyone know in advance who is in the fight, as that could scare away potential bidders. But at the same time, I think they gain much more in terms of trust from users that are regular/current/active bidders.
Meh, I'm all ears to more/any possible reasons this part of the process seems somewhat veiled?
