I remember hearing about a scammer here in australia years ago who was advertising
'good seats for the football grand final' and when people paid him for these good seats for the football grand final, they were sent out blow rubber cushions to put on the wooden stadium benches
instead of grand final tickets !

I wonder what is the cheekiest scam you have ever heard about ?

Newspaper Ad: Guarantee Fly Killer Kills flies 100% of the time you use it! Send $5.00

After you mail in $5.00 you get two wood blocks and intructions: Place fly on block A, Hit block B against block A.

I heard this story about 30 years ago and never forgot it lol

Yes i heard of 'how to make $20 an hour' just send $20 to find out , you then receive a letter saying
..... do as i do

some are quite funny in their methods

i have been emails from ebay security ....... just click here to confirm your account or there will be restrictions placed onthe account ?

after sending ebay a email to confirm if they were in fact sending out these emails i was told do not reply or click on anything

......its a scam

Here is a good one .... not really a scam but a surprise ....

A bunch of people receive tickets in the mail to a free concert, dinner or movie. Explaining they had won them free. When these people show up they are seated and when the rooms are full of contest winners .... a local sheriff walks in and explains that "they" all have warrants for their arrest and that "they" would all be going to jail tonight. And ...no ....they would not get to see the movie/concert or get a free meal.

Yes even in australia we heard about that one and it was a good scam on behalf of the cops , quite funny i thought !

there is also the old scam that if you are not happy with the product will return your money , thing is its what they write on the cheque , if it was religious for example the cheque would say CARE OF THE DEVIL, or something else distasteful to the point the person who got the refund who be too embarrassed ti cash it in !
