I've got an email, from an Acquisition Dept. within an appraisal company, telling me they'd like to know my price for the domain DomainsRetailer.com
They've been kind enough to let me know they'd like a price for me to sell it right ahead "without any negotiation" <- their word-by-word statement...

Please let me know what's a fair price to let this baby go :lol:

I don't understand mate...
They only want to know a price I'd sell them that domain...
They only want me to reply to them how much, so IF it's scam... what can they do with my BIN PRICE ?! :lol:
Sure I'll transfer the domain only after the payment will arrive...

The "To:" field is not with my email in it... it's "Undisclosed-Recipient".
I've logged into their site, and noticed it's a real appraisal company with lots of costumers.

What you reckon ?

I reckon I should set up an appraisal company with lots of 'genuine' customers letters, probably with links to , i dunno, lots of registered websites.

then I can send letters to lots of people with domains and appraise them, then buy them ! yay ! go me.

now where did I put that 'borrowed' creditcard :D

If you reply they will almost certainly ask for an appraisal from a reputable company (which they own) ...

Or some ficticious womans name they are using now??

Is your name listed at sedo, that seems to be their no1 hunting ground..

The domain I've been looking at was : finalappraisal.com
Should I reply ?

sounds like the weekly appraisal spam scan emails i get. do yourself a favor and hit the delete button when these come in.
