Let me know what you think about DomainPortfolio.io :)

As you probably already know, .io is popular for tech, internet and startup sites. If I needed a domain to show off my domain portfolio for sale, I'd definitely love to have DomainPortfolio.io - it's just perfect.

But that's just me - what is your opinion and approximate price range appraisal for this domain?

Thanks in advance!

Brandon

So domain portfolio is a good tech, internet or startup name?
Big Fat Zero on this one.

This is why I will never buy .io
Two beautiful words and the io
Regardless, I say $300-500 because someone will think its cool
$35 renewal doesnt help

Nice, but limiting resale potential to domainers. Who happen to often be cheap if they don't see much potential in selling to high-paying end users.

I'd say great name to pick up and develop, but don't expect too much flipping it

Excellent name to develop but not to sell....Unless a domainer is the enduser..

Buy low and sell high
Name of the game
Not many end users for this name outside of investors

So what your saying is this person is only gonna get $300 if someone else on here figures its worth x,xxx.?

I see it is a flippa lander, your heavy into these call them, extensions

What I do like is the io.io at the end, made my crank turn a little faster

Yeah, exactly what I'm saying. I agree, flippa is maybe a better bet for .io, but quality .io's have only been going for a few hundred on flippa at best. And most of those have been single words. Plus, then you're stuck paying flippa's listing & success fee and whatever upgrades you've bought, so all that for hopefully a few-hundred sale price isn't much profit.

Exactly! One of these rare instances where a domain is interesting to a domain reseller for his own use. Reseller becomes end user :)

Thanks,
Brandon

My target group would be domain resellers. The domain is perfect for a domain reseller site.

No, I'm just getting opinions from other domainers to have more information to be able to put a price range on the domain.

Also, io has been interpreted as 1 and 0 like in computer codes ("0100101011101"). All the calculations your computer (CPU) does are based on simple "yes" and "no" results. Hence the popularity amongst tech companies.

Of course, with this domain you can interpret it as "In" and "Out" which again fits perfectly for domain portfolios (Buy/Sell).

Thanks,
Brandon

Yes and no. Sales prices have been varying wildly:

Single word domains tend to do better.

But most importantly, buyers actually use their .io domains:

Just personal preference..I wouldn't want to put my portfolio at DomainPortfolio.anything. Too long and too generic / not unique / not a brand..you get the point.
I'd say high xx max..
But who knows :)
If I were to buy it, it would be for a website theme I was creating and selling..or for promoting landing pages I was designing for people.. Something like that.
