Domainhop referral question

I've referred my friend to domainhop, and he used my ref link to sign up. However I've yet to see his username appear in my ref box. A few other people also signed up under me but never showed up as well. Any experienced DH member know why?

I asked my friend to check his earning status and he said he got $1.53 so far in the last 6 days.
