domain Domainers.biz, any value?

Hi,

Thanks your appraisals in advance

I bought the Domain Domainers.biz days ago (form a NPer here ). I panned to use it as the name for my Domain Forum which I have Mid $x,xxx budget for promotion. But give it up at last because of most of my Forum members don't like a .BIZ name.

So looks I would not use this domain for any of my sites in some long days, and better to sale it again.

Any value for a .BIZ name like this? :tri:

I had made a post about the keyword "Domainers" sometime ago. I personally feel that as this industry becomes more and more accepted, this term will hold the equivalent value that the term "realtor" has in Real Estate.

Granted, Realtor isnt just a Real Estate Agent, but it is a title from an association with that industry.

I personally picked up my fair share of "Domainers" keyword dot coms in the last few months, in the hope that in the next few years, they will be quite valueable. I love the term, and I think Domainers.biz has some value.

Again, it will take a little more time to really "ripen" up. I think your looking at 1-2 years time. I do think it may be worth holding onto. If your looking to part ways with it, I may be interested depending on your asking price.

My opinion is that it will take longer though... just a month ago I was explaining to my accountant what a domain is and why do I buy and sell them (i buy mostly) :p
I can't see guys like him investing in domains yet, but it will definitely happen over years

I also like the keyword "Domainers" very much, just the .BIZ tld hurts it..

I did a poll to ask my members which name they like: Domainers.biz and another long .com name (domainbusinesstalk.com). The result is only one member like .Biz one from 12 people voted

However, I believe what you said: It would be valuable 1 or 2 years later.

LOL, When I seen your thread title I thought you stole my domain I have domainersbiz.com plus a few others. Good name, I'd hold/develop like you said. Term will take some time imho.

Like Domainspade said, The keyword domainers would become more valuable in future. So hold it for at least a year or 2. Right now I believe low $xxx would be a good estimate. But You can sell it for $xxxx in a few years time.
