Hello NamePros,

So this is my 6th domain name purchase. The last five were apparently worthless, but I have a really good feeling about this one!

Please let me know what you think!
Thanks a bunch

ps. How in the heck do you make your title bold?

I don't see a clear use for this domain, and why somebody would want to own that domain. Perhaps you had something in mind when you registered it.

Personally I would advise to only register domains that you are willing to develop.

Do not expect that selling domains is going to be easy, especially domains handregistered in 2012.

Really??? Are either one of you familiar with the phrase "eminent domain"? Do you even know what "eminent" means?

History lesson:

The 5th amendment states that the government can seize private property for use to satisfy the common good, as long as the property owner is compensated. for example: A farmer owns a field, but a highway would be suited better there, so the government compensates the farmer for that portion of his property.

Before the 5th amendment people could claim any property that wasn't already owned. This is also called eminent domain.

You obviously know what "domain" means. Lets just say domains are virtual real estate and there is plenty of "unclaimed property" out there.

1.
high in station, rank, or repute; prominent; distinguished: eminent statesmen.
2.
conspicuous, signal, or noteworthy: eminent fairness.
3.
lofty; high: eminent peaks.
4.
prominent; projecting; protruding: an eminent nose.
..........................................................................

So here are my thoughts....

Yes, obviously it is domain eminent, not eminent domain...BUT this name would be great for idk maybe a DOMAIN REGISTRAR, HOSTING SITE, DOMAIN DISCUSSION FORM. In fact a domain discussion form sounds good. I think i might just develop it and make a requirement that people don't state "their opinion" about other peoples domains.....

Ugh...why is this site called NamePros anyway?

I know what eminent domain is. But 'domain eminent' doesn't make sense.

Why are you asking for an appraisal if you are going to develop it ?

In my view it has no resale value undeveloped.

Why do you think a registrar should use a name that is associated with seizure of property anyway ?

BTW: this site is called NamePros because there are members here who actually sell domains.

Nick,

They are just trying to help you out, it sucks being told your domain name is worthless but waisting money sucks even more. If I was you I would do some research on the names that are in demand before making purchase number seven.

I'm sorry for sounding so rude. I suppose that I am just getting frustrated that Everyone thinks all of my domain names are junk. I am a bit of a "visioneer" and have seen a potential website for all the domain that names I purchased. I do plan on developing all of my domains, but before I start, I just want to see if anyone can see the same value in a domain name that I do. Again, I apologize. I'll take your advice and run with it
