I am sorry if this is very basic question. I have a domain registered in Godaddy. When I checked my nameservers they were under domaincontrol. Why is that? Shouldn't they under my site name or godaddy's?

And also I would like to know which is best tool to look up any domain's DNS reccords?

Those are Godaddy's nameservers.

Drongy answered correct, domaincontrol NS are Godaddy's
Regarding how to look up any name NS, a simple RDAP/WhoIs request will do the job https://lookup.icann.org/
For DNS, there are a few tools online like this one : https://mxtoolbox.com/DNSLookup.aspx (not affiliated with them)
Search DNS records lookup on Google, there are many tools like this one to check DNS, I also use this one to check propagation https://dnschecker.org/
