there is alot of irrational factors like emotion , negotiating skills on both sides, and year sold...then factor in wholesale or retail and pries are all over the place

yes but we can surely try to make bots.. Some categories have enough sales to estimate the pricing.. Also bot takes into the account time & Place of transaction.. No-one can really predict what a domain is going to sell for same as the case of what will happen with your life tomorrow, but it's safe to say that we can try to find best possible price with a confidence interval attached.(Technical jargon)..
PS : I ain't trying to do that though..

It's too bad that Afternic data is not in there. That would add a huge amount of great info.
