Question to all domainers out there:

How do you keep track of all your domains/registrar/expiration dates. When I started in domains I always had a problem keeping track of the domains/registrar/expiration date, despite me having very few domains compared others on these forums.

I found my solution by making my own private script that I later developed into dnListing.com, but out of curiosity what tools do you guys use. I sit in the "Domains Wanted" forum alot and I find my self having to keep looking back and forth at my listing just to see if any of my domains fit the wanted ad.

Maybe I have terrible memory.

Domain Name Portfolio is a FREE PHP and MySQL based application to help domain owners better organize their portfolio. It allows you to list your domains with their expiry, registrar, price, status, and category. Also allows visitors to your portfolio to contact you about a given domain.

More information on the Domain Portfolio is available at DomainPortfolio.us - Domain Name Portfolio

Anyone else? It seems that its the obvious choice to make your own script for those that can. How about people with no programming background, what do you use to keep track of your domains?

I use Excel but that are many ways to keep track Wordpad, Domain Portfolio, Excel, Open Office is a few Word Processor package with excel.
You can also make a site and just list them on the page. Use Wordpress to make the site.

Hope this helps.

That's what I have done although I don't use wordpress. Since I plan to develop most of them I write a little about my thoughts and ideas for each domain. When I get a site published, even if it's a single page site I link to it. Each of the developed sites deep links back to the domain category on the central site.

I figure it's a way to get the domain indexed if nothing else.
