Last night a .com I was watching for was dropped and immediately picked up by postaldomains.

Now I see that postaldomains is part of enom. And the domain registrant details are:

Domain Name: ________________________
Registrar: POSTALDOMAINS, INCORPORATED
Whois Server: whois.postaldomains.com
Referral URL: domain name reseller, domain registration, web hosting, email @www.postaldomains.com
Name Server: No nameserver
Status: ok
Updated Date: 06-nov-2009
Creation Date: 06-nov-2009
Expiration Date: 06-nov-2010

If I do a whois query of the domain on both postaldomains and enom, it says domain not found. But the above detail is displayed by other whois sites.

I don't understand clearly from the above who is the owner of the domain? Is it booked by enom themselves for 1 year? What is the scene here?

The domain was earlier registered with webnic.cc.

I see that postaldomains.com is registered at enom
don't know what you mean by a part of enom?

What is it you are asking :)

Ahh, all it's links are pointing to enom... So I thought I still have a chance?

So it means the domain is gone for 1 year again? I read somewhere, some registrars pick up domains for 5 days and put it to auction before letting it go again. I don't recall clearly what I read and where.

I want to know if I stand a chance or not.

And why does the whois output in enom result in domain not found?

It's got Whois Privacy on it.

But yes, it appears to be gone for another year :(
