Domain parking?

Hi,
I was wondering, do you guys think it makes sense to invest in domain parking? (Grab domains and park them), is it lucrative? I got a few domains parked at sedo and they get a few bucks a month.. so far I don't see much interest in it.. any of you have better results?

Nah, you can earn much much more if you develop your name with affiliate programs and Direct Marketing copy techniques. It's not that difficult with today's templates and very affordable web expertise you can commission.

But if you mean using domains that could be used to start a popular forum or something then no.

Do you ever backorder the names to park? I havent yet.. I think $60 will take a long time to pay for it self (for a single domain)

yes I have, I also buy them from people in the forums, also reg them. Then I park them.
It all depends on the name, you may get a name that makes 60$ a day in parking.

and those that dont do well you just dont renew?

it all depends, if the name receives more than 10 uniques a day I renew it, If it isnt paying well at sedo I try it somewhere else, domainhop, fabulous, ect... if it doesnt do well anywhere then I will sell it. Otherwise keep everything that is more than 10 unique visits a day and is US traffic.
