    Hi

I used many parking services for my domain names, but are they more benefical than a Google Form page ? I just switched to this and started to test it.

I see one advantage using parking page like Dan for example:
    - User can pay directly from the landing page
    - A beautiful layout (Which is it not required if the buyer is willing to buy the domain name)

    But the main disadvantage is:
    - You will not be able to get the contact infos of the buyer since you will deal directly with the agent

Same thing for Sedo, the advantages are:
    - Possibility to pay directly from the landing page
    - Monetize your domain name from the traffic

Do you think this kind of monetization is more benefical than gathering contact infos of buyers ? If you find this monetization worth it, why not using your own landing page with google adsense integration ? I think you will get more revenues throught this one... same as dan and other service as well, you will not get email address of your buyer.

So, the main shared advantage using this platforms: Recieve the payments from them since they are trusted and are around here over years.

Why not using both of them to gain all the good thing they offers and in the same time get in touch with the buyer without the need of intermidiare ?

Using Google Form or your own hosted form will give you more control on your sales:
    - Get contact email of your buyers with ability to contact them for futur sales
    - Purpose more payment methods (Get back to this point shortly)
    - Invite them to check your portfolio if they are no more interested on the targetted domain name
    - Include your own HTML code on the page (Like Google Adsense to monetize your porfolio)
    - Get detailed stats of your traffic by including Google Analytics
    - Build a reputation
    ect...

So, when you get in touch directly with the buyer, you have the possibility to use any of the escrow services that exists in this space which offers trusts and especially different payment methods:
    - DAN: Bank transfer, Paypal, Cryptocurrencies (For crypto it is not yet recommanded)
    - EPIK: PayPal, Cryptocurrencies, ALIPAY, Credit Card
    - SEDO: Credit/Debit Card, Wire Transfer, PayPal, Alipay
    - AFTERNIC: Wire transfer, PayPal, Money order, Credit card
    - ect.

So the buyer will be comfortable and can choose any of this payment methods to pay for the domain name.

I noticied also that EPIK show all informations about the buyer (Like email and ip address), their landing page is worth to try also.

Here is an example of a landing page I just made and started to use:
    https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe-PB-gifVqJVjlTOE9LHjpBnbtSTs7TqpCOgnH_pPFOQIncA/viewform

Hope you find this thread useful and let me know your opinion on this.

I am mostly using it because I want them to handle the negotiations. Also they provide a sense of trust and security for the buyer.

And if you are going to use your own landing page, why not create a nice landing page using wordpress and an Optin Form. It will be more aesthetically pleasing and you can use proven and converting landing page

Actually I don't want to use my own landing page with an Optin Form, for internal SMTP issue on my server ... and also, Google handle the traffic and page translation better :)

You are right about the negociations, but about security and trust like I pointed it on the post ... the buyer can choose the platforms he trust the most and that offer the payment method he is willing to pay with, this landing page will be used only to take negociations with potential buyers and especially building a contact list for the futur ... that is not possible passing directly from the platforms above.

I didn't said they are not indispensable, they are a requirement when it comes for the buyer to make the payment :)

Page translation? For buyers from different countries?

And how much do the escrow service of the above charges vs their comission?

It is possible to make a select box with the languages you are targetting, and then redirecting the user to a specific section, or forwarding your domain name depend on the language your are targeting to a specific form.

    I know about EPIK:

    Escrow.com

You probably wouldn't get approved for Goggle Adsense on a landing page due to lack of content.

Even though you don't get given the interested parties email on some platforms you still (usually) get the function to chat with them. Isn't that all you need?

You can use your Google Adsense of one of your established website on your landing page, there is no problem with it.

I don't need to talk with my client only, I need to keep in touch with them even after they successfully buy a domain name from me, or in the case it fail, I need their email for other domain name proposal.
