OK, for some reason I just thought about this and decided to see what you think.
I have a question about whether or not there is a term for a certain form of a domain name. Such as when reffering to a domain name, alone, without the extension. Or reffering to a domain name with it's complete extension.
A similar example in English would be a word representing one thing is singluar and a word representing multiple things is plural.
Bird = singular form of the word.
Birds = plural form of the word.
So for the domain name. Abcde.com it could be said that, when reffering to the domain name.
Abcde = Ural form of the domain name.
Abcde.com = Exlar form of the domain name.
LOL, am I crazy?
