hi all
I am from india and new to domaining.. i have heard from my friend that being in india we are not supposed to buy domainnames with extensions like .US(only for US customers).DE(Only for Europe customers) i would like to get more info w.r.t any restrictions

what are the extensions that we should avoid registering??

Can i buy domain names with .co.uk extensions??

You will need to investigate which one in particular you are interested in.
Each one that has the restrictions [if any] is noted on the individual links.

If you are not a resident of the United Kingdom, you are not allow to register .co.uk domain.

I suggest you to contact the Registrar and consult with support before registering any domains.

Why are you interested in other country code domains? if you are an invester, .COM is the best.

It is little confusing now.. I would rather stay away from buying country specific extensions to avoid any issues.

By the way your feedback, clarity on the same is much appreciated. just to ensure all of us are on the same platform
