Join me and my guests Roy Lopez and John Berryhill.

Roy Lopez is President and CEO of DNS Research, Inc, which is the parent company to the Internet's Largest Athletic Shoe Store Sneakers.com, currently ranked #1 for the search term "sneakers" on MSN and whose portfolio includes more than 1700 prime keyword generic domain names such as Basketballshoes.com, ITDevelopment.com, SierraVista.com, DesignerJewelers.com, OneDollarStore.com, LakeArrowHeadRealEstate.com and many others. Roy bought his first domain name in 1997. Upon selling that name for 30 times profit, he then realized the potential domains held and began registering domains. He built his portfolio using the knowledge gained from his domain research business DNS Research Inc. DNS Research Inc. was one of the first companies to offer true, expired, on-hold, dictionary, 2 and 3 letter (and character), as well as custom keyword and domain name server lists to the public as early as 1999.

We will get a live update from the ICANN meeting in Vancouver from John Berryhill. Dr. John Berryhill is a patent attorney practicing in Philadelphia, the Cradle of Liberty and the City of Brotherly Love. John has represented domain name registrants and trademark claimants in numerous UDRP proceedings and federal court proceedings. John has been a longtime advocate for the rights of domain registrants in ICANN working groups and task forces relating to intellectual property and other domain policy issues, and is a representative in the Registrar Constituency.
