Domain 'kiting' Testing typos etc

I have read about domain kiting and the process whereby registered names can be dropped after a small period of 5 days or so. Whilst i appreciate this practice when performed by the drop catchers etc is destroying the chances of small time domainers, it doesn't stop my curiosity...

Is there a registrar where I can register domains, but be able to cancel them within 5 days or so if I decide I don't want them (and get all/most of my money back?) i am thinking about typos for example, where it may be hard to gauge traffic and i don't want to register a load to find they are useless.

hope this question doesn't annoy anybody and makes sense.

moniker, you only pay the $0.25 icann fee if you delete the name within 4 days

I really wonder if you could find anything the big boys have overlooked. They have been at this for a while and when they find traffic they keep the name. Perhaps, if you have an angle they have not thought of, but it would be tough.

Enom allows you do it fast and painlessly through their API for $0.25 per deletion. You can also submit a support ticket and they will delete a name (or multiple names) for free. Using this method, you must be careful that they receive/process the request within the 5-day grace period. For example, if you submit a ticket to delete a new registration 4 days into the grace period, and it turns out it is a Saturday and nobody from support gets to your request -- then you're out of luck.
