BREAKING NEWS

M.Manns sales figures have finally been explained. It was recently leaked that Mann is part of a domain cartel run by a group of seedy registries. Over the past few years they have been using M. Mann along with a few other well-known domainers to hype up domain sales and create as much awareness as possible. These domainers are paid handsomely to lure people wanting to invest money into domain trading. Due to the low barrier of entry, domaining can be accessible to people who would have never been able to invest in other marker places like the stock exchange. Registries continue to make a fortune from these domainers. The lure of turning $10 or $100 into $10 000 is too tempting and when people here about all these crazy publicized sales it gives them reason to believe it is easy. This explains why M. Mann is always so vocal about his sales, often he sells domains for $xxxxx that are worth registration fee. Due to domains being virtual commodities, masking the actual owners and creating fictitious sales is really easy.

These are not fake news. such things have been happening in different ways ........... lol

And the above is a classic example of how rumors start and how fake news becomes marketed as real news. Hence, why I'm against spreading fake news, even as a joke.

DomainGang.com has been doing this for a while now, fake news plus real news = you decide, and judging by their 14 front page advertisers, most of whom are biggies in this business, it seems as if it's widely accepted! If you keep a sense of humor about this, I think there's no harm done. Just do your research!

My point wasn't whether there was real news involved. My point is that when you make jokes out of fake news something gets twisted into reality, and then the mixture of fake + real news can convince people of weird things. It happens too much these days. /rant

Jokes often have some degree of truth embedded in them. I am not making accusations saying that the above scenario is exactly what is going on BUT I will say that just like any other marketplace on this planet... The Domain marketplace can and is being manipulated to a certain degree by those that have the power and means to do so...for various reasons. Anyone who believes otherwise is naive...

And in other news the Unisex registry announces it is launching the .cum extension from its secret base in the Gayman Islands.

"After the wild success of the .kumquat extension we saw a real opportunity bring a handful of joy to the domainer community as the domain market matures into the adult phase, with a throwaway domain costing less than a budget condom" said one broker.

Premium domains can be reserved at www.ho.cum until 1 April.

BREAKING NEWS

It has been discovered that 4 word domains, such as StaplerStaplerStaplerStapler.com are among the most valuable domains, not 4 letter ( LLLL.com ) as was previously rumored among the domain industry.

Here is our reporter reporting from the domain dollar store below to educate you on other high quality domain types:
