Domain developing

Hey,
I wanted to ask: should i develop all the domains that i buy? Thats what will increase my domain name values?
And if i develop it, i need to develop it to a full working site (and not just a page that has a content that is relevant to the domain name) ?

Developing *may* boost value a little bit, because the domain will already be ranking in search engines (to some extent).
For a potential buyer, this is an upside over a domain with no history, or worse yet, still sandboxed.

But no guarantee it is worth the time and effort. 'Development' is the typical domainer piece of advice for domains that wouldn't sell on their own because they are low quality.

Nonetheless I always suggest that newbies only register names they are willing to keep and develop if they don't sell, because that's the most likely outcome

Just to add to what was said, you can get ranking and pagerank if you park with a parking company that allows linkbuilding and promotion of your domain. Then your domain mayl have more value, but only if the buyer thinks so. Even if they do, they may not tell that they do to keep the price lower.

With a site, you have a second thing that can have value. If you put the two together and someone likes the package, it can sell for quite a bit more that the two things on their own. It is possible to put a domain on a site and just sell the domain. Then you put a different domain on the site and sell that one.

Developing is best for those that can't earn much from parking, want to earn more either short or long-term, or want to sell a higher-priced, developed site.
