Domain.com name resales?

Regarding .com exclusively, i see many domain name resales, happening 24/365. Is there a market for selling well-composed, brand new domain names at significantly higher prices than charged by the original registrar, that have not developed traffic/have no history? Or, is the major majority of domain name sales on Sedo, etc., domain names with history, which have never dropped?

Of course. In fact, some end users would rather buy a domain that has no history, at least no negative history or heavy 'baggage'.
