Hi all,

I have a client who owns several online hydroponics growing equipment shops. He owns a few other sites as well. He asked me to help him come up with a new, really hot domain name for him. So, I went and started my search.

To make a long story shorter for you all, he explained that most of his customers are folks who purchase Cannabis growing equipment in order to be able to grow their own at home and avoid the high cost and obvious dangers of relying on local dodgy folks to get their supplies of recreational or medicinal Cannabis/Marijuana.

I ended up doing what seemd obvious to me. I got to thinking that if I was looking for that sort of thing, I would type into the Google (or whatever) search bar the only logical three words that came to mind: cannabis growing equipment. I mean, what else would one who was looking for cannabis growing equipment type into the search bar?
Of course I can think of several too, but the vast majority of the gazillions of people who are turning to this "hobby" for the reasons I stated above (and other reasons, I'm sure) would type those magic, logical three words in the exact same sequence that the domain consists of!

So...is their any real hope that this domain name might have some actual monetary value?

This man now owns the domain name cannabisgrowingequipment.com. He has also, on my advice, register a variation of that domain with hyphens. I also tried marijuanagrowingequipment.com, and got the same result. Avaialable! So that was also registered in both hyphenbated and non-hyphenated versions.

Just develop. $0 right now, but developed w/ traffic a bit more. If it's only going to fit his company's name or whatever, I don't see much value in it even developed since it wouln't do well w/ anybody else.

Well that's just it. This domain name is perfect in my opinion, for every single Hydroponics store out there. Many of these people have multiple, very successful online hydro shops and they're doing well with names that have little nothing at all to do with hydroponics.
There are literally thousdands of cannabis-related sites on the Internet (I did some research and they are everywhere!), and most of them sell growing equipment of one sort or another. In other words this domain could be used for any hydro shop that wanted to develop an new hydro equipm,ent store under that name.

I'm still very ignorant to most of this, and learning, but that name just seems to be the ultimate for anone who sells growing equipment. And there are so many people now turniing to "growing their own" that when you couple this information with the fact that countless people all across Europe are being told by their doctors to use cannabis to relieve their symptoms, there is and always will be an ever-expanding market for hydro equipment.

That's thae way it stacks up behind my extensive research anyway. What do you all think?
