Sometimes being a man is not easy. It takes fortitude of profound and legendary quality to be all things to all people. But, in my mind... if you do the right thing, everytime your able to at all costs.. you at least will break even in life.

Even at the expense of your own life.

Sometimes, no matter how much it hurts you.. you have to live up to the facts of life and admit defeat in that there is nothing you can do....

Which Brings this post to the topic of Terri Schiavo. Today, the feeding tube was removed by court order for Terri despite an act of congress barring it (she was called to address congress next week, a local judge in florida still ordered her tube to be removed knowing this was just a way to buy time for her life.)

When her tube was being removed, her attorney was a witness to this: Her sister told Terri they were removing her tube, the time had come and that Terri had to say that she wants to live... or she will die.

Terri began to cry. Terri screamed "IIIIII". but could manage no other words.

The Tube was removed from her arm. The murder of Terri will take 10 to 14 days to finish.

It is so barbaric, so horrific that we are justifying to the American people, by rule of law.. this horrid method of sanctioned murder of Brian damaged people.

Murderers get pain medication and put to sleep before the act of putting them to death instantainiously ensues.

I urge you, men, women and all.. to please.. for all that is right... FIGHT FOR TERRI for all that is good. Or we as a nation have lost our soul.

There will be no getting it back.

There are limited things I can think of to effectively "stay" her execution for now:

1) Invade the hospice. Though she is under Police watch, they can only stop so many people. If.. no..when you get arrested... immediately have your attorney CALL TERRI AS A WITNESS TO YOUR DEFENSE. This will force the courts to replace her feeding tube.

2) Sue Terri! Go to your attorney and press charges against her. This will cause her to be legally a ward of the court and out of her husbands hands..thereby forcing them to replace the tube.

there are other methods, but ..you know.. not legal.

Her husband, if he were to die in some way... would of course no longer have any say as to what happens to her and liability for terri would fall into her parents hands.
Im not asking anyone to kill him.. im just wondering why no one hasnt yet.

I mean, dying by a 38 to the brain instantly is surely less cruel than starving someone to death.

of course.. if you called the florida police and told them I posted a hit out for mr schiavo.. i would be arrested and ...would have to call Terri as a witness...

The tube will be removed again once a court sees the new "law" as unconst... because they can NOT make a law that helps/harms ONE person. So this woman who had made it known that she wouldnt want to be kept alive will again go through the he** of starving more instead of dieing like she wished.

Congress is stepping in here. Why dont they also step in and stop abortions? Why not step in and stop people on death row from being killed?

If my states congressmen and senators vote yes on this "law" I have informed them I will help them to lose their next election.

Her husbands motivs though are clear. Insurance settlement in Terri's name. She dies, he gets to keep the money.

There is no money left. Also her parents offered him 10 MILLION to give them custody. He refused. Why? Because SHE WANTS TO DIE and not be a veggy!!!

sorry zuraz, the parents arent rich though, they dont have 10 mill to offer him. Everyone that knew her before this incident insists she wouldnt want to die here. with the sole exception of her husband.

I personally find it insulting that the democrats want so badly to starve this woman to death and yet, they are ohhh so upset when w make a terrorist stand on a box naked.

hmm.. ok. well I have to take your word for it. google shows nothing as do none of my regular media outlets (re: $10 mill).

I do know they have offered to take full and total control of Terri, her debts and all associatted costs
there is still money left (albeit, let than 100K) that her husband will get. Perhaps your thinking they offered to let him keep the residual of the settlement in exchange for terri? thats the only thing i can figure..??

Terri doesnt wish to die. You have one person against 50 saying she does. Please realise that.

Congress, the Armed Forces, Police..everyone of US has the obligation in life to defend those who cannot defend themselves. This even goes for those of limited mental capacities like Terri. again, she is NOT on life support, not a vegetable..etc. she has severe brain damage. Do not confuse this issue with someone's body being kept alive by making their heart beat when their is no sign of Brain waves.

This is the systematic execution, torture and denial of basic human rights to LIVE. It is cruel and Unusual punishment and it is horrific that a 1st world nation would intentionally STARVE a human to death over 14 days (or so) to please a political agenda that is, for all intents and purpouses only involved so as to keep their parties name in the news (democrats).

Terri has, sadly, become a political pawn. Life and the meaning of life is NOT something that can be decided upon by courts and judges. Judges cannot go against the will of the people as in the 9th circuit court (western USA) where they say the people choice doesnt matter, our rules matters( as in the cases of illegals licensing, gay marriage..etc). in doing so they effectively determine the status of all Americans based on political agendas by breaching a contract of trust and civil rights.

In the same manner, the Florida courts are determining WHO gets to live and what constitutes a viable life.

It is in these same interests that all mentally ill people can fall into consideration. This was tried before, in human history. The destruction of life deemed not worth living or unsuitable for the advancement of the human race.

In that situation, WE won after a long, hard and protracted battle to defend those lives.

The Agenda was called Eugenics.
the political party supporting it was the Nazi Party.

So if me and my wife(when/if I get married) are watching TV and they have something about life support on and I say if I was ever being kept alive I wouldnt want that. Then my family can over rule my wishes?

Yes she IS beign kept alive. If she isnt then removing the feeding tube wont harm her right?

She can eat on her own. the judges have issued as part of Terri's murder, a decree that the cannot be fed in any manner other than through the feeding tube.

that rule still holds since they've removed the tube.

Terri is a complete and viable life. there is nothing, other than basic care (bathing, feeding and washing) that she needs to live.

As per you saying you want to die... Again, in this instance it is not like the Schiavo case. People are confused on this point.

Terri is not bein kept alive be machine. she can live without and has not lived on a machines support.

she is not brain dead, all her body functions normally.

ok, let me put it simply: Her mind and body are the IDENTICAL situation any 6-11 month old baby is in. she can feed herself or be feed normally, she can smile, laugh, play jokes..etc.

Is she at a point where she can't say a 4 letter word "live" or a 3 letter word "die"? If yes let her decide her own fate. If no let her live with whoever can afford to keep her alive (the husband doesn't count) and only then if no one can afford it should she not be allowed to live. Why shouldn't she be allowed to live persuming someone wanting her to live can afford it. However if she can't decide for herself, I don't know how she isn't a vegetable other then it would be cannibalistic to eat her.

Obdiviously the husband doesn't care about her, why can't he let her parents take care of her. It wouldn't make any difference to him weather she is dead or someone else is taking care of her. And as the majority of people (not everybody, I wouldn't but the majority of people) would want to still live in that situation I think we should go with that she would want to aswell. It's the same reason why the death penelty is worse then life in prison. If her family and everyone who knows her thinks she'd want to live (excluding her husband) than the courts should go with that.

BTW: This is the only time I've agreed with Lee and Lee and ZuraX were arguing over the same thing.

According to what I hear from congress she cant even eat on her own. In the local paper they say a few people tried to sneak in and give her water and bread.. WHICH SHE CANT EAT!! LOL

I say let them in and let them force bread down her throat... Would end this crap faster and give her what she wished for.

According to her family she can. When petitioned by congress, her family was asked if there was anything she needed to make the trip.
Her parents said "Nothing but a wheel chair. She can eat on her own if the judge would allow it"

to me, that says the exact opposite of what your saying.
