think of these few prefixes this way

10 to 30% potential value of the .com


very few real major .com's exist, the type worth 5M to even 50M

most of the news is public sales on auction type sites

but if you owned one of the very few power .com's for industry you can create instant major sites with 5M or so in development and branding

homes.com
hotels.com
travel.com
insurance.com
casino.com
mortgage(s).com
loan(s).com
car(s).com
auto(s).com
lawyer(s).com
doctor(s).com

as examples of major billion buck industries where the .com's are all instant mega million buck assets

Some are developed and some are still on ice

Now put a prefix on keywords like that

e, i and 1
Bingo, you have a brandable major industry keyword and it can easily become a development project

now if you start to realize all the prefixes are gone in those mega keywords .com then you start to look at lesser industry keywords

so IMO you have 2 levels of super keywords and the pure keyword .com has been registered usually over 20 years, many now are portals

so short brandable prefixes are the development plays
