Another thing not conclusively answered by Google is, ideal content length of a blog post. Still open to wide interpretation, whether 500 words or 1890 words?

Relevant content, quality content and regular content is what matters....Google make this very clear

If you buy a domain with backlinks and develop it make sure to get rid of the crap ones, write content structured around those backlinks and any sub domains it has (if any) and keep an eye on all the technical SEO aspects.....

Sounds simple, wish it was though....

Recently read a very good article on something similar, it was more about making money from expired domains rather than ranking. It is very in depth....

Could be a good reason why people buy them.....
