Does anyone buy traffic?

I've got a few sites and have relied on traffic only from search engines. I have some money set aside to buy some traffic, but have no clue where to start. Anyone have any advice?

I tried both www.TargetedVisitors.info and www.visitorsdirect.info. I would have to say I had a pinch of better success with visitorsdirect category us traffic. I don't think targeted traffic works too well in general.

They sell the same thing, you can't have better results with one or the other :P

Google seems to be the best - Not cheapest - But they try to watch for fraud pretty good !
