That set cost that party about $15K, plus $3600 in annual renewals due every year.

Heart.Doctor aka cardiologist has a renewal
close to $1K annually.

The good think about the medical profession is they don't need to advertise as heavily as other industries. They are usually ranked by reputation, and name, not so much general terms as heart.doctor which is why the .com sits parked at sedo to this day.

the Thai Chinese and private .doctor domain prices were about $99 each and if i remember rightly the
i.doctor pre reg fee was approx $599 ish and the best bit? i decided not to confirm to buy any of those
pre -registrations

Someone like bill gates will make i.doctor a multi billion dollar website lol

I.doctor is gone someone steppedd up in EAP and paid up. Big renewal on that one, like many of these, you better budget 3 years worth of renewals.

Were you willing to pay $3.5K to purchase it before this party? plus annual renewal of $500 each year.

The plural is still in play out there for future releases, you have to think these kind of investments thru, after a X price it is no longer an investment in your favor, you are buying on impulse.

There could even be DR down the road who knows.

the right buyer for that i.doctor domain
won't much care about how much it
costs because the concept and or tech idea that suits that domain is a perfect
match eg the domain is the perfect self explanatory domain of the idea /
concept and the person with the same tech idea i had for that domain will probably get seed funding to make the idea of a global internet doctor the success it should be

Those are BIG IF's, how many $10K+ domains have you sold in your domain lifetime?

They are big ifs

how many 10k domains have i sold in my domain name lifetime?

er none

how many domain names have i sold at all? er none and? Lol

but i am a tech ideas / concept guy and as such understand where the internet giants are taking the internet and have a good idea what they will venture in to

even the big fish have to visit the domain name pond

I like your list. As someone else saying to watch out for the plural, I wouldn't really. .Doctor looks more authoritive than .doctors. IRL a person wants one real good doctor for whatever condition they may have, without having to filter through the doctors by themselves. People are always wanting to find that one good doctor, but they want it handed to them, i.e not having to search. With Virtual.Doctors, when I look at that domain name, first reaction, for me, is I will need to do more filter work. But Virtual.Doctor... well at that point there can be more than one doctor on the site, but first reaction is well.. this doctor might finally be the one for me.

I see one decent .doctor I want to register, but at his point I'm just focusing on renewals.

Obviously a doctor would love to offer patients the ease of contact heart.doctor grants. Don’t even have to remember the doctor’s phone number. It’s worth a $Mil easy. A hospital couldn’t care less about $1k/yr.

I think you made that up about .doctors. Probably won’t exist. find.doctors is silly. It’s like they’re sold by the bushel. And tomjohnson.dr would be ugly as sin. Only md and doctor work, and doctor won’t be mistaken for the state of Maryland.
