I'm new at domains and was thinking that going cheap would make domains sell faster. And that it would be a good strategy to flip domains quickly making less money per sale but making more sales overall.

But I'm starting to think that the difference in speed between pricing a domain fairly and pricing a domain very low is not big, that low prices don't necessarily speed up sales significantly when it comes to domains. Is that right?

I would have thought that if a given domain had the potential to, for example, sell at $2000 but you price it at $200 you would sell it very fast. But probably, since the domain market is not very efficient/liquid, it can take as long to sell at the higher-yet-fair price than at the heavily-discounted price. Is this intuition correct?

No,no,no, make them cheap is last thing to do. If YOU believe in your domain, then get it price right and sit on it. And or be proactive as well. I sold one for $999 and fell like cheap shitt. Remember why you got in domain in the first place. It's investment, creativity, fun and REWORDS at the end.

Your site is a custom landing page (that you built from scratch). The benefit of landing pages is relative to the quality of the landing page. Not all landing pages are built equal.

I created a domain online store for my (dot) io domains.

Absolutely! Easy and simple to make with WordPress. You can see example: DomainsMeca.com if you have a lot of domains or Bitcoinion.com if you have few and can fit them on one page.
You don't need special script or market portals etc. You will have complete control and will be more secure.
