Do you have/use a PDA?

I've decided to buy a PDA. I don't really care much about features like music & games. I just need one that will allow me to compose and store lots of text documents, and one that I can use as a phone.

Any of you using one, esp. one that you've been using for years because it gets the job done?

i've actually been starting to look more into mobile computing and am leaning more towards a netbook rather than a pda/peo. if you're looking for one that doubles as a phone then maybe you should consider getting the iphone.

I'm a Blackberry fiend.

I don't really consider it a PDA - it's more like my 2nd brain.

got a palm its crap i dont use it all what in it is available in nokia phones so why to hold a pda cant understand its just a big machine

I've used several electronic assistants... iPhone is by far the best I've used. I'm on Verizon now, though, so I'm using an iPod touch. Same thing as an iPhone except there's no phone. :hehe:

I do like XDAs..but once you go blackberry you don't look back. Rules my life.

Blackberry here as well. However, if i could get the form factor of the Blackberry Pearl, but with Windows Mobile 6.x, I'd be a MUCH happier camper.
Other than that, the Blackberry is definitely a great device.

I did have a UMPC which is sort of the same thing, it was a Samsung Q1 Ultra. Great little device although there quite expensive and there is a fault in the older models with the screen.

I'm thinking of getting the iPhone 3G now but I'm not sure about the lack of keypad...

I had the HTC Touch - was able to handle it for about 1 mth - the onscreen keyboard....hated it would be an understatement - went back to blackberry (pearl).
If i were to pick a new phone, i'd go with the HTC Touch pro - it has the slide out keyboard and a decent form factor on Win Mobile 6.1
