What extension to they use when browsing the net in India.. Majority is guess. .IN Domains or other like .Com or .Net...

Without any numbers to back up my guess, I believe .com is preferred, followed by their Indian cctlds (.co.in and .in are used; Not really much .net.in, .org.in, etc. use).
