Do the search engines favour different extensions

Hi,

I'm thinking of building sites on Branding.biz and Logos.biz, but before i do i was wondering if anyone knows whether the SE's have anything against these extensions as i don't see many .biz or .infos near the top of the rankings for almost anything.
It could be because there are more .com/net/org sites out there, but it seems pointless to me running with something if you've been hamstrung at the start.

search engines may favour cctlds for local searches, especially if you're hosting on a local ip address and your site is geared towards a specific geolocation.

as for favouring .biz/.infos over .com/.net/.orgs, i would say there's more bias against infos because they are the cheapest and have been abused the most from spammers.

that being said, i have infos that rank in the top five spots for their main keywords, so you should be fine with your .biz as long as your site is legitimate.

Logos.biz is a cracking domain to develop on IMO :tu:

My "non professional" opinion or observation is that it does'nt make a difference what extension you have, I have seen .ae - .eu etc in first position on Google for the keywords.

I also beleive that Google LOVES keyword domains and good page titles (of course along with good content and some relevant incoming links)
