Do the dutch use .net

does anyone have any ideas on whether the dutch use .net or avoid it like i am told the germans do

I am dutch and yes .net is being used in holland. But .nl is preferred and after that .com. Most of the times .net would be the 3rd in line. Also sometimes .org and .info are being used.
I do not know how the germans feel about .net, I think they prefer .de, after that .com and I know they love .info.

I think the order for the Dutch is: First .NL then .com .net .org .info .be .biz I have about 25 .cc 10 .nu a couple .tv and one .cd

Funny that the dutch and germans are so often mixed up.

I think the confusion/misconception is the result of:
-Dutch-Deutsche similarities
-Languages are from same root base, ie vader-Vater,vol-voll,huis-Haus,muis-Maus
-Even though Germany dips south, (and there are distinct differences between N and S), many people, (at least in the W hemisphere), tend to regard the two countries as N Europeon and lump them together more than they would with, say, Spain, France and Italy.
I think that the common error of confusing the Dutch and the Danish is even more humorous.

i think .net is used everywhere since it is international. Just depends on how much
