Do .net Names ever sell for Millions?

I was looking into purchasing this .net name, thinking mid to high five figures, but the guy says he thinks it's worth over a million. I'm like, BS! So, I'm looking for a reality check, either for me or him. Has any .net name ever sold so high?

Without knowing the circumstances of the .com - it would be difficult to guage a value on the .net - However... as pointed out - $400,000 is the tops right now, and to be honest, that isnt that old of a sale - I only see a handful of other .nets with the potential to top that sale.

Seems like .net's sell for a deep discount when compared to the same name in .com. Just look at all the dnjournal sales reports.

No they don't go for millions - The highest I've heard about was Sex.net as mentioned above

Fixedincome.net bought at sedo for 1500 euros !

None that I'm aware of.

If he owns sex.net, then it might be approaching a million dollars in the future, but not yet. That would be the only name that could be worth anything near a cool million

The ratio between .com and .net seems having a different; ie mostly .com worth much.
