Just wondering.
If you find a domain name and you were able to secure both of the top 2 TLDs for that domain (.COM, .NET,) would this not be likely to increase the value of the .COM by more than just the cost of the .NET if you offered all 4 domains as a package?
So let's say Tina was looking for the domain TinasToys.com because she own a chain of stores called Tina's Toys and she would like to build her business into a large internet/mailorder outfit. Let's say that Tina could register the domain because someone already registered it.
So she comes here and finds that the owner is selling TinasToys.com so she buys it for $70.00. Would it be possible that Tina might pay, say, $80-120.00 for the 2 domain package (TinasToys.com & TinasToys.net)? After all, it helps her to secure and protecther brand. No one can put up another toy site (or otherwise competing site) on Tina'sToys.net becasue she owns it as well and therefore by buying the .NET as well, she is able to better protect her brand.
