OK so I am going to be posting my DN's for sale and rent on my own page from now on. With plans of developing it further in the future.

Which is better for a buy, rent and rent2own domain name site?

URLlet.com

or

DNlet.com

MY vote goes to DNlet.com, maybe I can swing a deal with DNF..ha.

What is the value if I wanted to resale??

All responses greatly appreciated and I will leave feedback for your reputations:)

Cheers!

I remember back in the good old days I was in the world of [NAME OF THE THING] to let. But in the US ppl use for rent and for lease.

dnlet.com is better than urllet, because urllet has a double l.
But they would only be good in the UK.

Do people use "to let" in Canada?

I'm in the US and know what let means. Those who don't, will :)

Let = to allow

"I will let you publish to my domain name."
"Why haven't you let out your domain name yet?"
"Who let the domain names out?"

I'm working with it. :kickass:

Thanks for imput, I'm adding rep.

Go with DNlet.com...besides it being longer and not generally used for domain sales, URL with let creates double L. :)

Which part of US are you from?

Most people in the US know what it means, but don't use it. "Flat To Let" is written everywhere in the UK, but in California it's "Apt. for Rent". In Canada I think it's "Office Space For Lease / Room for Rent" or something.

Anyhow, I think DNlet.com is a great DN, can be more popular in the UK, but can be popular in the US as well when developed. I mean if Sedo isn't developed, who knows what does "Sedo" suppose to mean.

You have an advantage because to-date there still isn't a site where people can check records of domain "land-lords". There is no place to give feedbacks, no place to complain etc. Back in the days eBay took that advantage and succeeded. Go here: http://web.archive.org/web/19970614001443/http://www.ebay.com/ and you'll see what a piece of crap eBay used to be.

Thanks again for the comments edwin.

I was building a website but became agitated because there is so much I want to be able to do and couldn't.

I think I may need to outsource this one. Or take some quick classes.

DN let.com could also be a site where domain name owners and websited developers get together to work toward an end profit.

Like I own USAmom.com. I would post it on DNlet.com that I am looking for a developer. If a developer shows interest then perhaps DNlet could provide a contract saying that the owner of the DN gets like 30% and the developer gets 70% of the final sale price. Also a min. sale price would be included in the contract.

I'm still brainstorming.
